AdGang (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what control you have.

1. Information We Collect

AdGang is designed with privacy in mind. The App does not collect the following data:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers or contact information
• Precise location data
• Advertising identifiers for tracking across apps or websites

The App may process the following information locally on your device:

• DNS requests and responses for the purpose of applying filters and blocking unwanted domains
• Locally stored configuration data such as:
  • Blocklists and whitelists (domains you choose to block or allow)
  • Selected DNS servers and privacy settings
  • App preferences (e.g., dark mode, language, filter toggles)

All of this processing is done locally on your device. We do not upload your DNS logs, blocklists, whitelists, or configuration data to our servers.

2. Network Traffic and DNS

AdGang can act as a local DNS or network filter to block unwanted content such as advertising, tracking domains, or other categories you choose. In doing so, the App may inspect DNS queries and apply rules to determine whether to allow or block a domain.

Important details:

• DNS data is processed locally by the App for the purpose of filtering and security.
• We do not decrypt, log, or store the contents of your web browsing (such as pages you visit, form data, passwords, or messages).
• If you select a third-party DNS provider (for example, AdGuard, Cloudflare, or other DNS services), your DNS queries may be sent to that provider in accordance with their privacy policy.

AdGang itself does not operate external DNS servers and does not collect your DNS queries on our own servers.

3. All Is Under Your Control

The App provides predefined DNS configurations and filter lists to enhance privacy and security. However, you retain full control over:

• Which DNS provider to use
• Which filters are enabled or disabled (ads, trackers, security, etc.)
• Which domains are added to your personal blocklists or whitelists

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that all custom DNS configurations and filtering decisions are made at your own discretion and risk. The developers are not responsible for:

• Network interruptions or connectivity issues caused by your chosen filters or DNS settings
• Inaccessible websites or services due to blocked domains
• Any side effects resulting from your modifications of DNS or filtering rules

4. Subscription and Purchases

If you purchase a subscription or other in-app product, payment processing is handled securely by Apple through the App Store.

• We do not receive your full payment details (such as credit card numbers or full billing information).
• We do not have access to your Apple ID credentials.

We may store non-personal information about your subscription status (for example, whether a subscription is active) locally on your device to unlock premium features.

5. Third-Party Services

AdGang does not integrate third-party analytics SDKs or advertising SDKs that collect personal data for tracking or profiling.

If you choose to use third-party DNS providers or blocklists, their privacy policies apply to the data sent to those services. We recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any DNS provider or filter list you enable.

6. Children’s Privacy

AdGang may include features aimed at helping parents limit access to adult content or unwanted domains. However:

• The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
• Parents or guardians are responsible for configuring and protecting access to the App’s settings (for example, via device-level parental controls or passcodes).

7. Data Storage and Security

Configuration data (such as filters, whitelists, DNS settings, and statistics) is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain a remote user database.

We use standard iOS mechanisms (such as app sandboxing and, where applicable, Keychain or secure storage) to help protect local data. However, the security of your device (e.g., jailbreak, malware, physical access) is outside our control.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Because AdGang does not maintain user accounts or store personal data on our servers, your rights are primarily exercised through your device:

• You can uninstall the App at any time to stop all filtering and local processing.
• You can reset or change your DNS and filter settings inside the App.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are published means you accept the updated policy.
