By downloading, installing, or using the Fancy text, fonts & keyboard iOS application and its keyboard extension (collectively, the “App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not download or use the App.

1. License Grant & Apple Standard EULA

We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

These Terms supplement, and do not replace, Apple’s Standard License Agreement for Licensed Applications (Standard EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, the Apple Standard EULA shall prevail with respect to your use of the App.

You acknowledge that Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services with respect to the App, and that Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

2. Eligibility

The App is rated 4+ and may be used by users of any age. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use the App only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to be bound by these Terms on your behalf.

3. Description of Service

The App is a custom keyboard and font constructor that allows users to map Unicode characters to alphabets in order to create custom fonts, symbol sets, and text modifiers. The App also includes on-device text prediction to enhance your typing experience.

The App does not require “Full Access” for its core functionality. If you choose to enable Full Access in iOS Settings, this is used solely to provide optional features described in the App, and never to collect, transmit, or store your keystrokes.

4. Subscriptions, Pricing and Auto-Renewal

Some features of the App are available only through an auto-renewable subscription (“Premium”). The following terms apply to all Premium subscriptions.

Prices are quoted in U.S. dollars and may vary by country or region. The exact price applicable to you, in your local currency, is always displayed inside the App before purchase and in the App Store confirmation dialog.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price of the subscription selected.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple Account settings: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.
• No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during an active subscription period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for.
• All subscriptions offered by the App belong to a single subscription group, so you may upgrade, downgrade, or switch between subscription durations at any time through your Apple Account settings.

5. User-Generated Content (Custom Fonts & Sets)

You retain all ownership rights to the custom fonts, modifiers, and symbol sets you create using the App. By creating content within the App, you agree to the following terms regarding its visibility:

• Public content. Unless you explicitly select the “Make Private” option during creation, your custom fonts, modifiers, and character sets are considered public. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and distribute this content within the App for other users to view or use. You may withdraw this license at any time by deleting the content or switching it to private.
• Private content. If you select the “Make Private” option, the content remains stored exclusively on your device. We claim no license to private content, and it is not uploaded to our servers.

You represent and warrant that your content does not infringe the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other legal rights of any third party.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the App to:

• create or publish fonts, modifiers, or symbol sets containing defamatory, offensive, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or unlawful names or descriptions;
• impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation;
• reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• disrupt or interfere with the security, integrity, or performance of the App or our infrastructure.

7. Moderation and Termination

We may review publicly shared content and remove any content that violates Section 6, and we may suspend or terminate access to public content features for users who repeatedly violate these Terms. Reports of objectionable content may be sent to the contact address in Section 13 and will be reviewed within 24 hours.

8. Intellectual Property

Excluding your user-generated content, all right, title, and interest in and to the App — including its source code, user interface, pre-installed font sets, graphics, and design — belong exclusively to us and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Unicode characters themselves are part of the Unicode Standard and are not claimed as our property.

9. Privacy

Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle usage statistics and user-generated content, and why we do not collect your keystrokes or typed text.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, that custom fonts will render identically across all third-party applications and platforms, or that locally stored prediction data will never be lost as a result of iOS updates, device restores, or reinstallation.

Nothing in these Terms limits any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence that cannot be waived by agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of typed text, or device malfunction, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the App.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
